INFORMATION ABOUT LINDIG FARMS: A naturally beautiful site with the Ottertail river on one side and the Prairie on the other side. Although
visitors may think of Lindig Farms as a pumpkin patch, the intent goes much deeper than pumpkins.
The intent is to give visitors an entertaining look at a family farm. You will see many animals and crops that offer the sights, sounds and smells of the past. The family farm of the past had a large variety of crops and animals in an attempt to provide each family with enough to eat and a surplus to sell. This sustainable/production agricultural philosophy was simple, however required an optimistic outlook and endless work.
The family farm of the past took the raw product raised and converted it into a useable commodity. The conversion from raw to useable was a difficult task, however provided much self satisfaction to the producer. Hopefully your visit will bring you or your family that farmer mentality.
